Styro is a small, on-device reminder app. You don’t need an account, and we don’t run advertising or third-party analytics in the app.

Location stays on your device.

Styro uses Apple’s location services to remember where you set a reminder and detect when you leave that area. While a reminder is armed, Styro receives location updates, including in the background with Always access, to check movement away from the starting spot. It saves that one starting spot on your phone so an active reminder can recover after reopening. Location updates stop and the saved starting spot is removed when you cancel the reminder or departure is detected. Starting spots are not kept in reminder history. Styro does not send your location to us or store it on a Styro server.

Your reminders stay local, too.

The app stores reminder state, optional item text, local reminder history, the free-reminder count, and the start of your welcome offer on your iPhone. Local history helps record whether a reminder was set and whether its alarm or an earlier reminder notification was confirmed delivered. It is not sent to an analytics service.

Styro uses Apple’s AlarmKit to schedule alarms on your device. Your item name becomes the alarm title and can be visible on the Lock Screen or a paired Apple Watch. Choose item names you are comfortable displaying there. Alarms use a separate permission and can sound in Silent mode and Focus; ordinary notification preview settings do not govern alarm titles. An active reminder from an earlier TestFlight build may finish as its original local notification.

You control permissions and deletion.

You can change location access and Alarms permission for Styro in iPhone Settings at any time. New departure reminders need both permissions to work. You can cancel an active reminder in Styro and stop a ringing alarm with its system Stop control.

Deleting Styro removes its local reminder history and settings from the device. Device backups are managed by your Apple settings; restoring a backup may restore app data. Your purchase record remains with Apple so that you can restore your lifetime unlock.

Apple handles purchases.

Lifetime purchases and restorations use Apple’s App Store. Styro receives the purchase status needed to unlock the app. We do not receive your card number or payment credentials. Apple’s processing is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

If you contact support.

Email sent to support@styro.me is handled by our email provider. We receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and resolve your request. Please avoid sending sensitive information that isn’t needed for support. You can email us to ask for deletion of your support correspondence.

This website.

This is a static website hosted by Cloudflare. We do not add advertising, analytics trackers, or cookies. Cloudflare processes connection information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and protect the site. Its handling of that information is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
