How does a reminder work?

Open Styro at the place you’re leaving and press and hold to wake the box and set a reminder. When iOS detects that you’ve left the area, Styro sends a local notification. You can optionally name one item to remember.

My reminder was late or didn’t arrive.

iOS decides when you’ve left the area. Location accuracy, the surroundings, and device settings can affect when a reminder arrives. Styro cannot promise an alert at the exact doorway.

• In iPhone Settings, check that Location Services is on and Styro has Always location access.
• Check that notifications are allowed for Styro. Focus settings and Scheduled Summary can affect when you see an alert.
• Open Styro and make sure your reminder is active before leaving.

A reminder only counts against the free allowance when its delivery is confirmed. Setting or cancelling a reminder doesn’t spend a free reminder.

What does Styro cost?

The first 3 confirmed delivered reminders are free. A lifetime unlock costs US$4.99 during the first 12 hours after your first app open, then US$7.99. The welcome period is elapsed time, including time with the app closed. Local App Store prices may vary. There is no subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

Use Restore Purchases on Styro’s purchase screen while signed in to the Apple Account you used to buy it. Apple handles payment and purchase restoration. If you need help with an Apple charge or refund, visit Apple’s purchase support.

How do I remove my data?

Styro keeps its reminder information on your device. Deleting the app removes its local reminder history and settings. An App Store purchase remains associated with your Apple Account and can be restored. For more detail, read our privacy policy.
